A recent Gallup study identified 2 of the 3 major reasons organizational projects fail are related to people or change factors. Often times, organizations rely solely on change professionals to address these factors.

In this engaging hands-on session, we make the case for why project managers need to be personally invested and skilled on organizational change for improved outcomes for their organization, their projects and their personal growth and development. Participants learn how to position change as absolutely essential to project success as well as how to action critical change moments that matter. Participants walk away with practical learning that can immediately applied to enhance their project manager toolkit!

Michelle Yanahan, Principal and Owner of ChangeFit 360, is a passionate organizational change management thought leader with proven expertise in executing programs that enhance and grow organizational change management as a strategic business competency.  Michelle has 18 +years’ experience in leadership roles in operations, change management, IT, project execution and project management office (PMO) development. Michelle holds a Masters in Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University as well as CCMP and Prosci ADKAR change management certifications.  Michelle has been a featured presenter for ACMP, ATD,  PMI and SHRM. Conference Bridge Information:

PMI Phoenix Chapter events use a conference bridge that requires that you register prior to the event.  There is a registration link in the confirmation email.  Once you register the conference bridge will send you a meeting invite with the bridge information.

PMI Phoenix Chapter Members will have their PDU's reported automatically for PMI Phoenix Chapter hosted events with the exception of breakfast meetings, partner events or noted otherwise.  All others will need to self-report.

Non-Member Registration:

Anyone who is not a PMI Phoenix Chapter member will need to register as a non-chapter member and self-report.

Attendance by Phone:

If you dial into a meeting by phone then your name will not show up on the conference bridge registrant list.  You will need to email events@pmiphx.org to let us know you attended to get your PDU.
