Anike (Nikki) Bond

Biography
Anike “Nikki” Bond is a Program and PMO Leader who has spent more than a decade helping organizations turn complex ideas into clear, successful outcomes. With an MBA, a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, she blends technical know-how with a strong business lens to deliver impact where it matters most.
Nikki’s work has spanned Agile transformations, PMO development and digital change initiatives across SaaS, fintech, and the public sector. While at Choice Hotels, she led the rollout of the customer-facing “Commitment to Clean” scheduling feature during the height of the pandemic -- a project that gave travelers peace of mind and strengthened the company’s brand trust when it was needed most. She has also guided teams in piloting generative AI solutions and launching enterprise-scale programs, always with an eye on creating clarity and momentum.
Holding PMP® and CSM® certifications, Nikki is recognized for her ability to cut through noise, align diverse stakeholders and help teams deliver meaningful results. She is equally passionate about mentoring rising leaders, supporting diversity in tech and creating spaces where innovation and execution work hand in hand.
She’s excited to bring that same energy to the PMI community.

Why are you running?
I’m running for the Board because I care deeply about growing the next generation of project leaders and creating a chapter full of fresh ideas, energy and opportunity. My passion is mentoring and helping others step into their confidence, while also making sure diverse voices are represented and celebrated in our profession.
I want our chapter to feel like a true community -- one that inspires, connects and supports members at every stage of their careers. That means not only creating space for innovation but also helping our talent network get back to work and thrive in meaningful roles.
Serving on the Board is a way for me to give back, share my experience and roll up my sleeves to help our chapter continue to grow and shine.

What specific personal talents, skills, or experience will you bring to the PMI Arizona Chapter?
I bring a people-first approach to project leadership, where emotional intelligence, diversity of thought and inclusion are just as important as process and tools. I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of project leaders, advocating for mental health and neurodiversity and finding creative ways to apply technology that serves the greater good. At my core, I’m driven to make sure every voice is heard and that our profession continues to deliver value in ways AI can’t replace.

How do you envision the new AZ Chapter fostering inclusivity and delivering meaningful value to all members?
I see the Arizona Chapter as a community where every member feels they belong, no matter their background or career stage. Inclusivity isn’t just about having diverse faces in the room -- it’s about making sure all voices are valued, from seasoned leaders to emerging professionals, from traditional project managers to those with unconventional paths. I’d love to see our chapter highlight and celebrate talent from groups that are often overlooked, including women, people of color and neurodivergent professionals.
Delivering value means going beyond certifications and checklists. It’s about supporting the whole person. That could mean blending technical learning with leadership and EQ workshops, expanding mentorship opportunities and finding ways to connect members to real career growth and meaningful work. By pairing innovation with empathy, we can build a chapter that empowers our members to not only excel at delivery but also thrive as people and leaders.
