Why are you running for the Board?
With over 17 years of active volunteer service to the Phoenix PMI Chapter, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to a vibrant and dedicated project management community. Now, in the later stages of my career, I’m inspired to give back even more—sharing the knowledge and experience I’ve gained to support the growth and success of our newly unified Arizona Chapter.
I’m passionate about helping the chapter thrive and ensuring it delivers meaningful value to all members. By serving on the board, I aim to help shape a chapter that is inclusive, forward-thinking, and deeply supportive of its members’ professional development. I believe that through collaboration, innovation, and a strong commitment to service, we can build a chapter that sets a new standard for excellence in the PMI community.

How do you envision the new AZ Chapter fostering inclusivity and delivering meaningful value to all members?
I’m genuinely excited about the merger of the Phoenix and Tucson PMI chapters and the formation of a unified Arizona Chapter. The decision to structure the chapter into three divisions is a thoughtful approach that will help ensure a consistent and inclusive experience for members across the entire state.
I was honored to witness the Phoenix Chapter receive the Chapter of the Year Award at the PMI Global Conference in Atlanta—a moment that filled me with pride. As a board member of the new Arizona Chapter, I am committed to helping us achieve that same level of excellence and recognition.
My focus will be on working collaboratively with fellow leaders to ensure that every member—regardless of location or background—has access to the chapter’s resources, tools, and opportunities. Together, we will create an environment where all members can grow professionally, enhance their careers, and truly experience the value of being part of the Arizona PMI community.
