BIO:  David Doan, PhD, MBA, RN, BCMAS, PMC-II, PMP, CSM, CSPO

David Doan, PhD, MBA, RN, BCMAS, PMC-II, PMP, CSM, CSPO, is currently the VP of Programs for the PMI-Los Angeles Chapter. He is a management consulting senior manager in Accenture North America Health | Care Innovation Practice and is based in Los Angeles. He has over 25 years in the healthcare industry working and is adept at transforming strategy into execution working with payers, providers, and healthcare disrupters. David is currently the Southern California (SoCal) Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Council Lead where he leads and provides oversight to 26 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and is active with many ERGs. He frequently serves as a guest speaker on the topic of DEI and ERG at various conferences and conventions. He also serves on the SoCal Corporate Citizenship Council as an Accountability Partner providing oversight of 34 nonprofit organizations that Accenture partners with. Outside of work, David is passionate about numerous health, social, and environmental causes including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, health equity, social justice, marginalized populations, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and climate action. He is also the Co-President of Ascend Los Angeles Metro Chapter, Director of Conferences of Pride Bands Alliance, Board member of APLA Health, Governance Board Member of San Francisco Hep B Free, and Board member of HIV League. He is also a member of various community and professional bands and orchestras.
