Presentation Title: Be Curious, Not Judgmental
Presentation Summary:
Drawing inspiration from everyone’s favorite soccer coach, Ted Lasso, PMO Joe shares how being curious, and not judgmental, as a Project Manager can help you delivery projects better and advance your career. Our primary purpose as project delivery professionals is to lead teams to produce a desired result. To do this effectively and consistently over time, we need to excel in building relationships, motivating teammates, and negotiating desired outcomes. Attendees will leave with practical examples and techniques to ramp up their curiosity as project leaders. As Ted Lasso told us, “I think that you might be so sure a person is one thing, that you sometimes you completely miss who they really are.”
