Academic Outreach
The Academic Outreach team is committed to fostering excellence in project management. Our passionate volunteers are at the forefront of shaping future leaders. Through our collaboration with the Future Cities Program, we evaluate and cultivate project management skills, ensuring that the next generation is equipped for success. Our commitment extends beyond the classroom as we proudly offer a comprehensive PM Toolkit, an introduction to project management for all. Collaborating with academic researchers, we contribute to the evolving landscape of project management knowledge.
Social Good
The PMI Phoenix Social Good Team supports PMImpact by working in our local community to support the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The team conducts many social good events and actions annually. We are recruiting volunteers to support our charitable work, and you can click below to find out more about what our team does.

PMI sets industry standards, conducts research, and provides education and certification opportunities designed to strengthen and further establish the profession. Our chapter proudly serves all the local and national professionals in Project Management. PMI has thousands of members around the world who represent nearly 400 unique companies across the globe, and over half of these members across the globe hold PMI's esteemed PMP certification.
Speakers for our Chapter's Events
Our PMI Chapter welcomes proposals from passionate speakers interested in sharing their experiences, knowledge, and expertise on general business and strategy, leadership, project management, and technical or industry-specific specialties. Our professional development events provide professional development units (PDUs) with educational information necessary for those attendees maintaining certification or credentials. Speakers are also eligible to claim PDUs for creating and delivering their presentation material.
